WASHINGTON, DC — MediaDC announced today that Red Alert Politics (RAP), the leading online publication created by young conservatives for young conservatives, has hired Lauren Cooley as Contributors’ Editor.
In her role, she will focus on recruiting young writers to join RAP, both young professionals and college students. She also will provide commentary and be reporting for RAP.
“Millennials are quickly becoming the largest political demographic and I’m excited to join a publication that serves the next generation of news readership,” Cooley said.
RAP will also be sponsoring Cooley’s highly successful campus tour “Make Campus Great Again!”, which was recently profiled by CNN and the New York Times.
“Lauren will be bringing Red Alert Politics to campuses nationwide, and student writers on these campuses will be bringing news to Red Alert Politics’ nationwide audience. We’re excited to be incorporated into her campus tour, and we look forward to watching her star continue to rise,” said Ron Meyer, Editor of Red Alert Politics.
Meyer adds: “Red Alert has big changes coming, and Lauren joining our team is the beginning. We’re upping our game — both our campus news coverage and our coverage of policies impacting the next generation.”
