Trump hits ‘biased’ ‘SNL’ again, asks: ‘Equal time for us?’

President-elect Trump slammed “Saturday Night Live”, again, for being a “totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all.”

“I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?”, he tweeted Sunday morning.

Trump’s latest salvo followed Alec Balwin’s return to the comedy sketch show as the billionaire businessman, his first since the election, in a cold opening that portrayed him as a president-elect suddenly panicking at the realization that he has to address all of the promises he made as a candidate.

Baldwin’s Trump, a portrayal that includes a wig and orange spray tan, has poked fun of GOP nominee on a number of issues ranging from the lewd 2005 video leak to the way Trump pronounces China.

Last week Baldwin tweeted that “Saturday Night Live” wanted to endorse Clinton, but the executives at NBC “killed” the idea.

In October, Trump accused the NBC program of performing a “hit job” on him, adding the Baldwin’s portrayal “stinks” and that it was further evidence of the media “rigging” the election. So far this season, every “SNL” cold open has been focused on the election, often showing Baldwin’s Trump facing off in debates against Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton.

Last week’s cold open, the first following Trump’s election victory, featured a solemn McKinnon singing the late Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” McKinnon ended the song by saying, “I’m not giving up and neither should you.”

Despite his criticism of the show’s recent political endeavors, Trump has been an “SNL” guest host multiple times over the years, including an appearance last November.
