PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gasoline prices in Rhode Island have climbed another seven cents per gallon in the past week, the second straight week of price increases.
AAA Southern New England said Tuesday that the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Rhode Island is $3.75, 21 cents more than last month.
Gas prices in Rhode Island are five cents above the national average of $3.70.
A year ago at this time, Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.77 per gallon for unleaded gasoline.
