Own a gun? In the mood for some pizza? Then Jay Laze, owner of All Around Pizza in Virginia Beach, Va., has a deal for you!
Laze is offering a 15 percent discount to patrons who bring their gun — Virginia allows open carry — or their concealed carry permit into his pizza parlor, PilotOnline reports.
The owner of the shop, himself a gun owner, said he was inspired by a ‘Second Amendment Day’ held by a Utah ice cream store earlier this month. In the first four days of the promotion, 80 percent of the All Around Pizza customers utilized the promotion.
Laze said customers have brought in 9 mm pistols — and at least one AK-47 — and while the promotion was originally intended to be offered for a limited time only, the shop owner might make it permanent if customers enjoy it enough.
