GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich and his wife Callista were spotted schmoozing the crowd at Cafe Milano in Georgetown on Tuesday. According to our observer, the former House speaker sat at a table behind the glass at the back of the restaurant with his wife and a handful of others. We’re told he made the rounds in the room and even stopped to chat with a table of Eastern Eurpoeans gals in their mid-20s and cracked jokes and exchanged pleasantries with them. “As he was walking around shaking hands with people, his non-impressive looking security, who looked like rent-a-cops, made sure that he was protected,” our spy says. We’re told he was donning a dark suit and blue tie.
