Actor Steve Carell and the crew of the upcoming movie, “Get Smart” (based on the 1960s “secret agent” comedy series), filmed on the Mall late last week.
Washington is one of only a few stops they will make to bring the comedy classic to a new generation. Thirty members of the film’s crew flew in from Los Angeles, and 100 local crew and 100 local extras were hired for the making of this movie.
