Former New York Yankees All-Star pitcher David Wells said “people are afraid” to speak out against “woke” culture.
“We need more guys to stand up and speak out,” Wells told Hannity. “You know me, I don’t have a filter. I don’t care. I speak what’s on my mind. If I am wrong, I will apologize.”

“People are afraid,” he added.
Wells blasted the influence of major corporations that have encouraged disrespect toward the military and the flag.

“Seeing all these companies go ‘woke’ — it doesn’t belong in sports,” Wells said.
Last weekend, while at the Yankees’ Old-Timers’ Day, Wells was spotted with his jersey’s Nike logo covered. When asked, he said: “I hate Nike! They’re ‘woke!’”
