Sick of the government shutdown? Tired of members of Congress making a mess of things in Washington? Sit back, have a drink and give them a call.
A new website, DrunkDialCongress.org, has provided Americans with the opportunity to rant and rage directly to a Senator or Representative after knocking back a few drinks.
Site users simply put in their phone number to to use the service. But don’t worry — no NSA allowed! The website stresses that your number will only be used to connect you to a member.
Get tongue-tied when you’re on the phone? Can’t think of what to yell about? (Too drunk to come up with coherent thoughts?) No worries. The site also provides some suggested talking points, such as not being able to watch the Panda Cam.
And if boring old beer doesn’t suffice for sending you on a tipsy tirade, there are also drink recipes like The Sleepy Senator and The Bad Representative.
Red Alert Politics was unable to get the DrunkDialCongress service to work at the time of this article, due to a high volume of traffic on the site.

Revolution Messaging, the progressive marketing company that’s operating the site, did not return request for comment.
