“Hey! Hey! What do we say? We want a pay raise right away!”
That’s what about 40 Washington Post reporters were chanting as they marched in a circle outside of the paper’s front doors on Thursday afternoon. D.C. schools reporter Bill Turque, District politics reporter Tim Craig, city council reporter Mike Debonis, metro reporter Nikita Stewart and higher education reporter Daniel De Vise were among the protesters who were carrying balloons that read “Fair Contract Now” and salary increase signs.
