Most voters don’t believe Biden’s denials about his son’s business dealings: Poll

The bad news keeps coming regarding the scandals involving President Joe Biden’s son Hunter. Last week, the nation’s 46th president once again denied any involvement in his son’s questionable business deals with foreign agents.

It’s a sentiment that many voters in the country refuse to believe, and it could harm the reputation of the president. A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports revealed that 58% of likely voters believe that the president was involved in Hunter Biden’s foreign business transactions. This included 44% of respondents who considered it “very likely” that he was involved.

Other results showed that most in the country feel it is at least somewhat likely Joe Biden was involved in Hunter Biden’s business overseas. This broke down to 38% of Democrats, 82% of Republicans, and 56% of independents.

None of these are particularly strong examples of the voting population trusting Joe Biden in the 2024 election, making him vulnerable to a Republican challenger.

The public has questions about Joe Biden’s credibility, and his son’s shady dealings do little to put this skepticism to rest. In fact, it only makes it worse. Combined with his own history of flubs and getting caught spreading misinformation, more and more people are starting to lack trust in Joe Biden.

Joe Biden has a significant problem waiting in the wings, and that problem is named Hunter Biden. The president’s son only exacerbates any trust concerns surrounding the 46th president because most people don’t believe what Joe Biden is saying pertaining to his son’s legal woes.

Unless there is some kind of public image makeover, this lack of trust will leave Joe Biden vulnerable in the election next year. Whatever happens, none of it bodes well for the 46th president of the United States.
