Agency responsible for Trump’s communications may have been breached

The agency responsible for securing the communications of President Trump and other top officials may have been breached.

The Defense Information Systems Agency, in a letter obtained by Reuters that was sent to potential victims, said Social Security numbers and other personal data in its network may have been “compromised.”

The letter said the personal data may have been compromised “in a data breach on a system hosted by” the agency between May and July of last year.

No additional information about the breach or who could have been responsible was reported.
