A mother of three gave birth to her third child in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven on July 11 in West Virginia.
Allie Sayers’s C-section wasn’t scheduled until July 13, but she found herself gathering her family to leave for the hospital because she felt the baby was coming two days earlier than expected. As she, her fiance, and their two children were on their way to WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, Sayers insisted they pull over into the gas station parking lot in Shinnston, where the baby ended up being delivered.
The baby was named Waylon and weighed in at 6 pounds, 8 ounces, according to Sayers’s sister-in-law.

Following Waylon’s birth, the Shinnston 7-Eleven, 8 miles away from the intended Hospital, changed its marquee to read: “Congrats, it’s a boy.”
