POLITICO – Rep. Kay Granger wants congressional recognition for the real-life “Monuments Men” who rescued art from the Nazis during World War II.
Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press” with the author of the book the movie was based on, Robert Edsel, the Republican congresswoman from Texas said calling attention to the work would both honor the “Greatest Generation” and help recover some of the lost pieces of art.
