Perhaps Halle Berry is better at fighting in a courtroom than fighting on a movie set.
The Oscar winner suffered a minor head injury when she fell while taping a fight sequence late Tuesday night on the set of her new flick, “The Hive.”
Halle’s rep says the “Catwoman” star was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
But TMZ says an on-set source claims Halle, 45, hit her head on the concrete after the nasty fall and began vomiting (which is a sign of a concussion), and she was then rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by an ambulance that was on the scene.
Halle was examined at the hospital and later released. Her rep says production on the film will go on as planned.
Sly hires a P.I.
It looks like Sylvester Stallone is taking matters into his own hands when it comes to investigating the death of his eldest son, Sage.
According to TMZ, Sly has hired famed private investigator Scott Ross to look into the matter.
Scott was the lead investigator in the Michael Jackson molestation case and the Chris Brown/Rihanna battery case.
He has reportedly met with the “Rocky” star and an official from the L.A. County Coroner’s Office.
TMZ reports that Sylvester wants to know what happened to his son and what, if any, drugs or alcohol Sage might have consumed in the weeks before he was found dead in his Hollywood home.
Holy death threats, Batman!
“The Dark Knight Rises” hasn’t even opened yet, but the masses are already defending it against critics.
According to CBS News, the film review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes has suspended comments on the movie. Commentators have lashed out against negative reviews, have used profane language and have even made death threats against critics.
Matt Atchity, the site’s editor-in-chief, said it was the first time RottenTomatoes.com has suspended user comments.
“The Dark Knight Rises” is the final installment in director Christopher Nolan’s beloved Batman trilogy, starring Christian Bale.
The film sits with an 87 percent fresh rating, but apparently that’s not good enough for hard-core fans.
What a guy
Comedian Russell Brand called in to Howard Stern’s radio show this morning to promote “Brand X,” but the topic quickly turned to his ex, Katy Perry.
Howard prodded the Brit about his recent divorce from the pop princess, but Russell took the high road.
“I don’t want anything to hurt her. She’s younger than me, she’s a young woman and she’s beautiful and she’s sensitive and I care about her deeply,” he said.
And when asked more about it, he said, “I don’t want to be too glib. She’ll read [about what I said] and she’ll be sad and I don’t want that.”
