Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, the Democratic National Committee chair who criticized the GOP’s “cut, cap and balance” measure, after West had left the House floor Tuesday night, saying that it was “unbelievable from a Member from South Florida” to support a plan that slashes Medicaid and Medicare while also “protecting tax breaks for Big Oil, millionaires, and companies who ship American jobs overseas.”
