CACI International will work to streamline information technology services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense under a nearly $60 million contract award, company officials announced Tuesday. The four-year partnership is a continuation of a previous information technology contract for the Arlington-based firm and significantly expands CACI’s work with OSD.
CACI will work to consolidate the many networks OSD maintains — which deal with everything from business management to homeland security — for more than 7,000 employees and contractors.
“All of our solutions are firmly focused on high-priority government needs for transformation and the support of homeland security and the global war on terrorism,” said J.P. (Jack) London, chairman, president and CEO of CACI, in a statement. “The OSD’s choice of CACI to continue our support for OSD consolidation efforts also confirms the success of our business strategy of anticipating client needs and responding with effective, high-quality solutions.”
