Jay-Z playing a show at Love nightclub Friday? Not surprising. His encore, however? A bit more surprising. The rap superstar spent Saturday afternoon at Pentagon City mall, promoting his newest investment, the Carol’s Daughter makeup line. As hundreds waited in line to meet him, he told us “of course” he was going to the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Barack Obama, a man he called “intelligent, sharp and true.”
