Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was filmed recently participating in the famous “La Macarena” dance in Spain with the group responsible for the iconic song following a visit with the country’s foreign minister.
Clinton reportedly met with Spanish Foreign Affairs Minister Jose Manuel Albares in Madrid last weekend before traveling to Seville.
After arriving in Seville on Jan. 20, Clinton attended an event in her honor at the Palacio de las Dueñas, held by the 12th Duchess of Montoro Eugenia Martinez de Irujo and her husband, Narcis Rebollo.
At the party, Clinton took part in the famous dance alongside Antonio Romero Monge and Rafael Ruiz Perdigones of Los del Rio, which was responsible for the hit. A video emerged of the moment, which quickly went viral on social media.
Albares wrote on social media that he and Clinton spoke about “the global situation and how to construct a more just and equal world.”

Clinton did not share her trip to Spain on her social media accounts.
As the clip of Clinton’s Spanish dancing made the rounds, some pointed out a resurfaced clip from the 1996 Democratic convention, at which she clapped along while several attendees carried out the choreography.
