The song is called “Empty Shelves Joe” by singer Buddy Brown. In the music video, Brown sits on the back of his truck and sings about transportation issues, locked cargo ships, and undelivered gifts.

“Stuck on a cargo, stuck on a cargo, stuck on a cargo ship … Yeehaw!” the chorus chants.
“Don’t hold your breath for that leather couch — it’s probably got cobwebs on it now,” Brown says while strumming his acoustic guitar. “When will it end? Hell, nobody knows. That’s why they call him Empty Shelves Joe!”
Brown is not a fan of the president, and he said it’s hard for him to find anyone who is.
“Now, I only know about three people in all my acquaintances who voted for Joe Biden in the last election,” Brown said. “Two of those people now said, no way in hell they would do it today.”
This is a start for Brown, but it isn’t enough. Women, especially, need to get angry at Biden, he said, and the best way to do that is to remind them there is nothing on the shelves of stores.
“You take their stuff off the shelves, boy, let me tell you what,” he said. “You take their Christmas presents away, ’cause they can’t find them, all of a sudden, yup, you get ’em.”
“Momma can’t find no kitchen supplies, kids learnin’ nothing, and gas on the rise,” Brown sings. “It ain’t on the shelves. It ain’t on the rack. Looks like normal ain’t comin’ back.”
“Who in the hell would have voted for this? I swear Democrats don’t deserve Christmas gifts.”
The song was posted to YouTube on Oct. 27 and has garnered almost 250,000 views and more than 22,000 likes.

“Somebody call the old folks’ home, ’cause we had one escape.” the last verse goes. “Inflation’s up, but hell, you can’t buy nothing anyway.”
