Gas prices: Another day of increases at the pumps

Published

Gas prices crept up across the country as the average price for a gallon of regular gas increased yet again this week. On Thursday, it now costs $3.455 per gallon, according to AAA. This was an increase from yesterday’s price of $3.449.

A silver lining in the increases is that gas prices are still slightly cheaper than a week ago, when they cost $3.46 for a gallon of regular. A month ago, gas was significantly more expensive, with regular gas costing $3.59 per gallon, while a year ago, it was $3.577 per gallon.
