WATCH LIVE: House Homeland Security Committee holds hearing on Trump assassination attempt

The House Homeland Security Committee will hold a hearing at 10 a.m. on the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump.

The meeting is part of a series of investigations in Congress into the July 13 assassination attempt in which a gunman shot at the former president, grazing his ear and killing one bystander.

The committee is expected to call two witnesses: Col. Christopher L. Paris, commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police, and Patrick Yoes, national president of the Fraternal Order of Police.
