Despite speculation that CW reality show “Blonde Charity Mafia” has been canned, a network rep said the fate of D.C.’s blond starlets would be decided in the next week or so.
But don’t hold your breath.
“The show is still in development at the CW, and no final decision has been made,” CW representative Paul McGuire told Yeas & Nays. “But you know that decision will probably be made this month, I’m just not sure when.”
He continued, “It should be in the next week or so.”
As for why “Blonde Charity Mafia’s” content has been pulled from CW’s Web site, McGuire said, “We are just focusing on shows that are scheduled.”
“BCM” star Katherine Kennedy told Yeas & Nays she is exploring other options.
Though the show soon could be dead in the States, it looks as though Kennedy is holding out for fame abroad. She posted to Twitter on Monday, “Save the date, we’re airing on #MTV-UK January 17th … stay tuned!”
