Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) survived a challenge to her seat in Iowa’s 1st congressional District, fighting back a challenge from Democrat Christina Bohannan in one of the most competitive races of the 2024 cycle.

Miller-Meeks defeated Bohannan by just 0.2 percentage points or nearly 800 votes. The Associated Press called the race on Wednesday afternoon, three weeks after Election Day.
