DHS slams federal court order to return ‘serial criminal’ illegal immigrant wanted for homicide

Department of Homeland Security officials spoke out Wednesday against a federal court’s ruling for the Trump administration to bring back an illegal immigrant deported to El Salvador who is wanted for homicide.

DHS condemned the ruling and referred to the immigrant, Jordin Alexander Melgar-Salmeron, as a “serial criminal illegal alien” in a post on X.
