CNN’s Jake Tapper called out Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday for being fired from Fox News amid a sexual harassment controversy after O’Reilly mocked CNN’s ratings.
“Sean Hannity kicking serious butt in the ratings. Tapper on CNN as low as you can go,” O’Reilly tweeted.
“‘Low’ would be sexually harassing staffers and then getting fired for it — humiliated in front of the world. Now THAT would be low,” Tapper tweeted in response minutes later.

O’Reilly was ousted from Fox News in April after reports came out that he had settled with multiple women brought who accused him of sexual harassment. The former Fox News host has maintained that he is innocent and has called his firing a “political and financial hit job.”
Fox News host Sean Hannity and O’Reilly have remained friends despite the break from the network, and Hannity has called for O’Reilly to return to the network.
