It didn’t quite seem real, until the first promo came out. Bravo’s first commercial for “The Real Housewives of Washington, D.C.” is online and on air, and yes, there are portions showing Tareq and Michaele Salahi all dressed up for the White House state dinner. “You’re going to the White House tonight?” someone asks Michaele Salahi on her cell phone. To which she squeals, “Yes,” all dressed up in her red sari. The other characters share catty banter much like the “Real Housewives” of other cities, with Lynda Erkiletian sniping about “second-tier” people and Mary Amons explaining that “boring is one thing that D.C. is not.”
