Trump, Pence to kick off ‘thank you’ tour in Cincinnati

President-elect Trump will travel with Vice President-elect Mike Pence to Cincinnati on Thursday evening for the first stop of his “thank you” tour in December.

The billionaire businessman announced earlier this month that he would return to states he spent significant time campaigning in before the election to show his appreciation to those who voted for him.

Trump will hold the free event at 7 p.m. inside the U.S. Bank Arena in downtown Cincinnati, which can hold nearly 18,000 attendees.

Although Trump won the state of Ohio and scored 8 points higher than Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, he actually lost the district that holds Cincinnati. Clinton won the city by more than 9 points.

Trump’s team has not yet publicly released information about other cities he will visit as part of his tour this month.
