Thursday night’s supper soiree with President Obama had three contest winners (and their guests) joining the president and first lady Michelle Obama for dinner at Boundary Road in D.C. — a new bistro featuring seasonal American cuisine. The winners of the latest “Dinner with Barack and Michelle”fundraising raffle were three women; ReGina Newkirk, a non-profit worker from Nashville, TN; Cathleen Loringer, a former social worker from Wauwatosa, WI; and Judy Glassman, a retired school administrator from Cambridge, MA – with all three bringing a guest of their own to meet the first couple. Chef and co-owner Brad Walker cooked selections from the restaurant’s menu for the party — which may have included dishes like Paprika Dusted Flounder or Grilled Hanger Steak — but White House aides requested that the restaurant keep their orders off the record, as well as who paid for the dinner.
