Powerless can get boost in Laurel

The powerless in Maryland can get a small power boost Wednesday when Duracell’s mobile charging station stops in Laurel.

Resembling a giant battery on wheels, the Power Relief Trailer offers charging stations for mobile devices, satellite phones, a computer kiosk station and Wi-Fi. Duracell will also be distributing batteries to help residents power flashlights and radios while they wait for their power to return.

The trailer is scheduled to arrive at the Lowe’s at 14300 Baltimore Ave. at 6 p.m. Tuesday and be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. For more information, check Duracell’s Facebook page or follow the company on Twitter.
