The Environmental Protection Agency ranks above the established media in the United States, said GOP presidential candidate Jim Gilmore at Thursday night’s Republican debate in Des Moines hosted by Fox News.
“The truth is the country has changed … [and there are] powerful forces that are really controlling our lives and that’s why people are so angry,” the former governor of Virginia said.
“One of those is government, which is regulating everything through the Environmental Protection Agency and other places,” he said. “But the biggest one is the organized establishment media.
“This media is manipulating, shaping and framing this campaign,” he added. “This is wrong. It has to change, and when I’m president, it’s going to change.”
