Actress Julianne Moore has met with Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., in Washington about health issues. He must have made a good impression because Moore, along with “Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon, was scheduled to appear Thursday night at the Hudson Theatre on Manhattan’s West Side to honor Nadler. Gov. Eliot Spitzer, state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., were also part of the plan.
The celebration was twofold: Nadler’s 60th birthday, which is June 13, and his 30 years in public service, dating back to his days in the state Assembly.
