Top talker Rush Limbaugh on Monday mocked feminist Gloria Steinem’s new book dedication to her abortionist, urging fans to send her “bags and bags of Doritos,” a reference to the chip company that ran a funny Super Bowl ad of a pregnant woman’s ultrasound.
During a segment highlighting Hillary Rodham Clinton’s difficulty winning women voters, the nation’s leading talk radio host cited feminist Steinem’s weird and controversial claim that younger women are flocking to challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders, just to chase the boys at his rallies.
“When you’re young, you’re thinking, ‘Where are the boys?’ The boys are with Bernie,” Steinem said in comments she later apologized for.
During his show, he noted that Steinem recently released a book that included a dedication to the doctor who performed an illegal abortion on her when she was 22.
He couldn’t resist raising the Doritos ad which showed a dad with a bag of Doritos as his wife undergoes an ultrasound. It shows the fetus following the dad’s bag of Doritos.
“Start sending Steinem bags and bags of Doritos,” he suggested in a comment he then laughed off but was promoted by DailyRushbo.com.
