Condoleezza Rice: Trump ‘should withdraw’

Former secretary of state Condoleeza Rice, who served in the Bush administration, said Donald Trump should withdraw from the race for president.

“Enough! Donald Trump should not be President. He should withdraw,” Rice wrote Saturday on her Facebook profile. “As a Republican, I hope to support someone who has the dignity and stature to run for the highest office in the greatest democracy on earth.”

Rice’s condemnation of Trump comes in light of a resurfaced video from 2005 that showed him making vulgar comments about women.

Rice joins dozens of other GOP leaders and lawmakers who have called on Trump to withdraw from the race, just about a month before the election.
