It looks like former President Bill Clinton is doing more than just stumping for President Obama’s reelection effort. He’s trying to raise a ton of cash, too. Clinton sent his first email this week encouraging supporters to donate for a chance to dine with both presidents at their June 4th Gala fundraising dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City — which will also include a concert by Jon Bon Jovi. While other attendees will be forking over $35,800 per-plate for this high-dollar dinner, the raffle will send two “grassroots donors” for registering and donating as little as three dollars. But they won’t get a chance to hang out with Obama too long, as he has three fundraisers planned for that day: a “Barack on Broadway” show at the New Amsterdam Theater right after dinner, and a third event at hedge-fund manager Mark Lasry’s home, with tickets costing $40,000 each.
