Shuffle off to Baltimore

Sometimes you just want to hit the road for a bit of weekend feel. There are plenty of great things to do in Baltimore that won’t strain your bank account. Here are just a few:

Maryland’s Place in Space

This expo for all ages will have plenty of hands-on science activities and demonstrations including robotic competitions and creative projects with NASA astronauts. There will also be special appearances by Sid the Science Kid from Maryland Public Television’s PBSKids; Stormin’ Bob Swanson, the Singing Weatherman and Wall-E.

The Inner Harbor is arguably the best place to chill in Baltimore especially now that free concerts abound. This weekend hear zyedeco by The Crawdaddies.

Let your art out

Kerplunk Out Front: A Painting Project let’s you release your inner artist. Stop in to join in the creation of six mural-sized painted banners that will be used to fill the Eastern Avenue windows of The Patterson. Fun for everyone.
