Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to receive free dental sealants Saturday through a program sponsored by the Maryland Dental Hygienists? Association.
Sealant is a clear, colorless protective coating for children?s permanent molars that helps prevent tooth decay. The target population is children receiving reduced or free lunches. The event, called Sealant Saturday, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Baltimore, 650 West Baltimore Ave. A Spanish translator will be available.
