Today is a good day for Canton resident Karen Olson. Olson, CEO of Adhesives Research, is leading a groundbreaking for a new 25,000-square-foot facility being build in Glen Rock, Pa.
Her company, which makes tapes and special coatings used in the delivery of the pharmaceutical industry, was founded in 1961.
“This new facility multiplies our ability to deliver many different drugs and platforms into the marketplace and leverage the commitment of pharmaceutical manufacturers with that ability. With this new facility, we will also be able to continue the R&D development that is intensive for these types of applications,” Olson said.
The facility will be completed in early 2007. The stand-alone facility will further expand the company?s manufacturing capacity and laboratory space to support a rapidly growing portfolio of projects and clients. Last year, Adhesives Research reorganized into four separate divisions.
