Dr. Heidi Overton, President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the Food and Drug Administration, has upset some hardcore activists in the Make America Healthy Again movement, threatening the coalition’s strength heading into the 2026 midterm elections.
Trump on Wednesday called Overton, a longtime ally and current White House domestic policy adviser, a “ROCKSTAR” who “is known to take on the HARDEST issues and bring me solutions that work best for the Country.”
