Jamie Raskin emerges as in-demand Democratic surrogate

House Judiciary Committee ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) has emerged as one of Democrats’ most in-demand national surrogates ahead of the midterm elections, campaigning for candidates across the party’s ideological spectrum and in some of the most competitive districts in the country.

Raskin has campaigned with more than a dozen Democratic candidates during the August recess alone, ranging from staunch progressives to centrists trying to win in Republican-leaning territory.
