Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) gave further indications that he intends to run for president in 2028, saying “there will be a time” when he would decide.

In an appearance on NBC News’s Meet the Press, Cruz was asked directly if he was “seriously considering” a run for president in 2028, 12 years after his failed 2016 run against President Donald Trump. He avoided directly answering the question, but gave plenty of fuel to those speculating that he would.
