President Donald Trump said on Sunday he thinks Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul el Sayed is “out of it” and he and other socialist candidates will harm more centrist members of the Democratic Party in November’s midterm elections.

“I look at the people running like in Michigan, I watched his interview the other day with Jesse [Watters],” Trump said, referring to a Tuesday interview between el Sayed and Jesse Watters on Jesse Watters Primetime. “And I said, ‘ Wow, this man is out of it. This is very dangerous for our country.'” Trump made the comments in a wide-ranging interview with Fox News’s Trey Gowdy that aired Sunday night.
