A Mississippi man died after his motorcycle hit a car head-on in Spotsylvania County.
Virginia State Police said 39-year-old Timothy Waaga’s 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle crossed into opposing traffic and struck a 2012 Ford Focus head-on near Harrison Road and Wexwood Court.
Waaga, of Long Beach, Miss., was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The crash happened at about 10:20 p.m. Saturday.
No information about the driver of the Focus was available.
Authorities said the circumstances of the crash are still under investigation. Waaga was wearing a helmet, police said.
