California officials furious over Trump’s Los Angeles San Diego Iran remarks

California leaders have criticized President Donald Trump after remarks on Monday that were interpreted by his opponents as a suggestion that Iran could “take out” Los Angeles and San Diego.

Trump made the remarks at a Republican rally in Nebraska while defending his administration’s war with Iran and arguing that the conflict was necessary to protect the United States.
