Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is putting her political clout on the line in Michigan, where Democratic Senate candidate Abdul el Sayed’s bid could bolster, or complicate, her 2028 presidential ambitions.

Ocasio-Cortez will join el Sayed’s campaign on Thursday, traveling through Michigan to rally supporters and mobilize young voters. She will join his bus tour through the Upper Peninsula before heading to southeastern Michigan on Friday for two college events, among others.
