Andrew Sullivan has returned from his two week vacation, swooning more than ever:
In the last half of that “miraculous fortnight,” Obama’s nine point lead in the Gallup tracking poll disappeared and the race became a flat-footed tie. The Rasmussen tracking poll showed a similar result. If Obama can manage a couple more similarly “miraculous fortnights,” McCain will enjoy a solid double digit lead. I would be remiss in leaving this subject if I didn’t note how much I missed Andrew’s presence in the blogosphere during his two week hiatus. And no, I’m not joking. Although we’ve reached a point where we disagree on just about everything, I still find his blog vastly entertaining, often thought provoking and occasionally enlightening. (I could, however, live without the occasional bursts of bitter anger, but that’s why they make paint in different colors.)
