Trump supporters gather outside Democratic convention holding signs, chanting, ‘Creepy Joe has got to go!’

A large group of Trump supporters showed up outside the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, chanting criticisms of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and holding signs.

“Creepy Joe has got to go!” the supporters of the president could be heard chanting at one point outside of the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware, where Biden was scheduled to accept his party’s nomination for president, according to the New York Post.

Several members of the group were holding signs, American flags, and one woman was holding an unflattering cardboard cutout of the former vice-president.

The Trump supporters could also be heard chanting “Back the blue,” which has become a popular homage to law enforcement in conservative circles.

In addition to the group of Trump supporters, a plane reportedly flew over the convention center airspace with a banner reading “Joe Biden is Losing It — Vote Trump 2020” allegedly paid for by the political organization Students For Trump.

A flatbed truck with an LED billboard flashing signs that said “Antifa for Biden” and “Creepy Joe Biden” was also spotted around the convention center area.

Biden accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president later that evening, giving a speech calling on Americans to “unite in our love for America.”

“Here and now, I give you my word: If you entrust me with the presidency, I will draw on the best of us, not the worst,” Biden said. “I will be an ally of the light, not of the darkness. It’s time for us, for We the People, to come together.”
