Metro is appointing two insiders to key management positions, the agency announced Tuesday.
Rob Troup will be permanently hired as deputy manager of operations, a role he has been filling temporarily for several weeks after the surprise resignation of Dave Kubicek, who led Metro’s track rebuilding effort. Troup joined Metro in 2010 and has been working in the transit industry for 35 years, Metro spokeswoman Caroline Lukas said. Kubicek’s last day was Monday.
