In his weekly presidential report card, pollster John Zogby finds that the President Obama continues to sit at 46 percent approval in the latest Zogby Analytics poll as the world feels on edge.
From Zogby:

“Our new Zogby Analytics Poll shows President Obama with a 46 percent job approval rating. But only 27 percent feel the country is headed in the right direction.
“What’s more, the country continues to be hopelessly split, especially as attention focuses on the Republican debate and aftermath.
“Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen decided to stay with the federal reserve stimulus as jobs and the economy continue modest growth.
“And it looks like the U.S. and Russia might be talking about Syria as President Putin increases military involvement in that country. World on edge, economy chugging along, president is steady.”
