Daily Beast and Newsweek publisher Tina Brown had a tech-hiccup on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Wednesday morning. During a discussion about security problems in Pakistan, Tina Brown’s cell phone sounded off twice, letting out a couple of jarring, sing-songy rings before she finished fumbling with the device to make it stop.
Brown spent part of the program talking about the debt ceiling debate, where she called Republicans the “suicide bombers” in the battle enveloping Congress. But she has also been responding to the backlash over the recent Newsweek cover featuring a simulated 50-year-old Princess Di as she would look at age 50, walking with Kate Middleton.
