The Hill reported that there’s a new dating app for Bernie Sanders supporters launched Wednesday.
BernieSingles.com, for the Democratic Socialist who wants to share the Bern (and maybe the chlamydia). Dating apps have been blamed for a rapid rise of sexually transmitted diseases including syphilis (79%), HIV (33%), and gonorrhea (30%).
The app’s creation came after two Sanders supporters were kicked off of Tinder for harassing dozens of members with pro-Bernie messages. In response, Sanders supporters created a rival that better caters to their interests — how free market of them!
In just one day, the app has attracted 5,800 members of Facebook.
The app also asks everyone to be social-justice-warrior friendly, pro-trigger warnings, and exclusive based upon people’s race, gender, sex, and class, or people questioning and changing their race, gender, sex, or class.
“What would Bernie do?” the app asks it’s users.
